A total of 10 local not-for-profit organizations will each receive $1,000 from Rotary Club of Princeton through their “Love Our Community “grant program. Congratulations to Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network (ICAHN), Flags of Freedom, and Club 56 for being selected this year.
Representatives from each organization were in attendance at Tuesday’s noon meeting to accept their checks and share how they would use the funds. ICAHN plans to pay for suicide intervention skills training. Flags of Freedom will pay for flag maintenance and repair, and Club 56 is using the grant for summer camp.
The mission of Rotary is to model service above self, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its business, professional, and community leaders’ fellowship.
