Just a few weeks remain to meet the requirements for your Rotary club to take full advantage of District funding for an impactful project of your club's choosing. Rotary District 6420 has up to $1,266 available for qualifying clubs.
Once matched by your club, most District Grant projects will have a budget around $2,532. Please note that if your club is not in a financial position to match the full $1,266, then you may ask for a lesser amount that your club can match – as little as $100. I suspect that there isn’t a community in our District that couldn’t benefit from a District Grant project – big or small.
The very firm deadline for applying for 2026-27 funding is May 15, 2026. Before a proposal can be submitted, clubs must meet the following requirements by May 1. Reminders will be sent to club leadership, but deadlines are firm.
-Club PE and Foundation/Chair must have attended training
-Club Foundation Chair must be identified-Club Goals for 2026-27 must be entered
-Club or Club Members must have contributed to the Rotary Foundation General Fund in the last 3 years (all clubs already have met this requirement)
-2025-26 Final Report (if your club received funding) due and approved
I'm also available to visit your club to talk all things District Grants! Reach out and we can get a date on
