Three Local Rotary Clubs Support LIFE Literacy Program in Whiteside County.
 
 
Three Rotary Club Presidents and Grant Chairs presented a check for $8,000.00 to the L.I.F.E. literacy program of Whiteside County which distributes a book/month to children aged birth through age 5 through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.  
 
Three Rotary Club Presidents and Grant Chairs presented a check for $8,000.00 to the L.I.F.E. literacy program of Whiteside County which distributes a book/month to children aged birth through age 5 through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.  L.I.F.E. is supported through the United Way of Whiteside County and serves over 1600 children annually.  Presenting the check are: Betty Clementz, Rock Falls Rotary Grant Chair; Kim Gaffey, President and Grant Chair of Twin Cities Sunrise Rotary; Tom Myers, President of Rock Falls Rotary; David Hellmich, President of Sterling Noon Rotary;  Keri Olson, Director of United Way of Whiteside County; Tim Schwingle, Grant Chair of Sterling Noon Rotary.  This donation was composed of club donations and matching funds from a grant from Rotary District 6420.
