This year marks 54 Years of the Poplar Grove Airport Fly-in Event at that event the Belvidere Rotary hosts Bomber Bingo. This amazing aerial display features small airplanes dropping flour sacks on a large grid on the ground.
Corresponding raffle tickets are pre-sold and the 1st three sacks to successful hit the grid will win a cash prize. This is a Free-fun day for all, truly a family friendly event. Bomber Bingo is the pinnacle event of the day, pilots take to the skies at 1pm. The fly-in event which covers both the airport campus and The Wings and Wheels Museum campus has lots of free fun to offer. Mark your calendar for this August 16th event. 9am to 2pm.
