World Peace Scholarship

The Rotary Centers for International Studies in Peace and Conflict Resolution Program is a major educational and peace priority of The Rotary Foundation. The Foundation has established six Rotary Centers for International Studies in partnership with seven distinguished universities worldwide. The Foundation sponsors up to 60 Rotary World Peace Scholarships for study in a 18th month master’s level program in international studies, peace, and conflict resolution at the six Rotary Centers.

Our District is extremely honored to have our first Rotary World Peace Scholar, Mary Bean. Mary was sponsored by the Geneseo Rotary Club and selected out of several hundred for one of up to 40 fellowships at four institutions outside the United States. Mary is studying at the Unviersidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
