A warm and fuzzy collection
Final collection for the annual Rotary-sponsored Coat and Blanket Collection
was made Monday, November 5, 2001.  Rotarians Jeff Hettrick (left), Bill Zobus
(second from right) and Bill Ehling (right), along with Salvation Army worker
Colleen Poulaki hauled coats into the Salvation Army building.  A total of 34
boxes were collected, equaling 1,700 items.  Free distribution was made
November 6-7 at the Salvation Army.  The 11-year project total is 15,310 items.

The Streator Club has also sponsored the Northlawn (Jr. High) Math contest for 16 years.
