The History of the Streator Rotary Club

The Streator Rotary Club was chartered by the Joliet Club in 1919. 

Since that time they have extended two new clubs - Dwight in 1938 and Lacon in 1940.

The Club has been honored by being the home club of two District Governors - A.H. Anderson 1927-28 and Dr. C.W. Kent 1932-33.

They have participated in hosting 10 Group Study Exchange Teams, and 9 short-term Exchange Students.
