The Permanent Fund

   The Permanent Fund is an endowment fund from which earnings are spent in support of Foundation programs. The objective of the Permanent Fund is to ensure maintenance of a minimum level of program activity and facilitate new or expanded programs in the future. RI encourages Rotarians to consider providing special support to the Permanent Fund as a celebration of Rotary and as a demonstration of commitment to Rotary as a movement for the centuries and a world leader in international service.     

   The Foundation gives special recognition to anyone who includes a substantial gift to the Permanent Fund in his or her estate plan or gives outright a minimum cash gift of US$1000 to the fund. Such a donor is designed as a Rotary Foundation Benefactor.
