     Ann joined the Savanna Rotary Club in December, 1988 and has maintained perfect attendance. She served the club as president in 1993-94 and has chaired or co-chaired the Annual Scholastic Banquet since 1988: the club’s Educational Awards Foundation since July, 1994 and acts as club liaison with the Interact Club at West Carroll High School. She received her first Paul Harris Fellowship in 1994.

    Ann is actively involved in a variety of community activities such as serving on the original Savanna Perspective Trade Show committee as treasurer and as co-chair; Savanna Education Foundation, Inc. charter member, secretary and treasurer 1994-2002; member of the Welfare Services Committee of the Carroll County Board for many years and has been a member of the Restoration Advisory Board of the Local Redevelop-ment Authority of the former Savanna Army Depot Activity since 1996. She is a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church; involved with the Catholic Women of St. John’s and the Prayer Shawl Ministry.

    The Savanna Rotary Club recognized her with its Outstanding Service Award given to a community member in 1999 and she received the Golden Apple Award from the Savanna Education Foundation in May, 2002. During the 2005-06 club year, Ann was twice named Rotarian of the Month and was recognized as Savanna Rotarian of the Year in June, 2006.

    Ann and her husband, E.F. “Pat”, have 2 sons and a daughter, 9 grandchildren and a great-grandson. They have hosted several Rotary Exchange students both long and short-term. Ann is retired from WCCI and the radio Station Manager but continues part-time as comptroller. Pat retired from BNSF Railway as a communication construction foreman.
