

Donald (Don) Clayberg was born and raised in Cuba, Illinois, a small coal mining town in Western Illinois. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Illinois State University and his Masters in Education at Bradley University.
Don became a member of the Sycamore Rotary Club in November, 1984. He served his club as President in 1996-97 and was selected as Rotarian of the Year in 1993. He started the Interact Club at Sycamore in 1993, and was a member of the Board of Directors in the years 1993-1998. He has served District 6420 as chair of Interact, Rotoract, and Short Term Exchange. He presently is employed as the Education to Career consultant for Kishwaukee College.
Don and his wife Nancy are both retired educators. He was the Director of Guidance for the Sycamore School district and Nancy was a teacher/librarian for the Kaneland school district. They have three children and five grandchildren. Don is a lifelong Bears and Cubs fan as athletics have always been a major part of his life. He enjoys spending any bonus free time working on his family farm in Cuba.
