Area VI Assistant Governor

Kent Terry

Area VI includes the Rotary Clubs:

LaSalle, Marseilles, Peru, Ottawa Noon, Ottawa Sunrise,

and Illinois Valley Sunrise

  This is Kent's forth term as an Assistant Governor since he was one of the first under George Partlo when the responsibilities were increased. Kent noted that that year was the most fun he ever had in Rotary so he was

willing to serve again. In addition to serving as his Club President on two occasions.

    Kent has been the long-time Secretary and Bulletin Editor of the Marseilles Rotary Club. At the District Level

he has served on a number of committees chairing both Public Relations and World Community Service.

Kent has been involved with the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program almost from its inception.

    A school psychologist by profession, Kent is partially retired and works two days a week for the Henry-Stark

Special Education cooperative. Kent is married to Ann, an elementary music teacher and they have two children,

both in education.
