Area IX Assistant Governor

Dave Emerick

Area IX includes the Rotary Clubs:

East Moline, Milan, Moline, Quad Cities and Rock Island

This will be Dave's second year as Assistant Governor for Area IX Rotary clubs.      

    Dave has been a member of the East Moline/Silvis Rotary Club since 2002.  During this time, Dave has served

as Board Member, Program Chairman, Vice President and Club President in 2008-2009.  He attended the

Rotary International Convention in Los Angeles and is currently Chairman of the Membership Committee. 

Dave has achieved his second Paul Harris award and is a benefactor to the Rotary International Foundation.

   Dave is a Vice President with Blackhawk Bank & Trust working in their Silvis location.  He is very active in his community, serving on several boards and commissions.  Dave is the Chairman of the IL Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, Treasurer of School Health LINK, Treasurer of Rock Island County Council on Addiction,

Past President and Current Secretary/Treasurer of the Silvis Optimist Club and Chairman of the Silvis Business Association’s Membership Committee.  He also is a member of the Board of Directors for the IL Small Business Development Center, Rock Island Housing Authority, Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa & Western Illinois and

New Kingdom Trailriders.

   Dave has been married to Lori for 18 years and they have one daughter, Jordan Marie.  She will be a junior

at Alleman Catholic High School and is a member of the National Honor Society. 

They belong to St. Pius X Church in Rock Island, IL.

   During his leisure time, you will find Dave spending time with his family in their travel trailer exploring

points of interest and sightseeing.  He also enjoys attending Jordan’s school events and trying to get in a

round or two of golf.
