Mike is beginning his first year as AG of Area 1. Mike joined the Loves Park Rotary Club in 2006.
He has served on the Board and the Membership committee since 2007 and chaired the Club Fruit Drive
Fundraiser in 2008. Mike served as club president of the Loves Park Rotary in 2009/2010.
Mike is the General Manager of The Mauh-Nah-Tee-See Club and has worked in the golf industry
for 33 years in all areas of country club operations. He attended Michigan State University where he
acquired his Agronomy degree. For the next 20 years his focus was on the maintenance side
of the business. In 2004 he became General Manager at Mauh-Nah-Tee-See in which he presently
is responsible for all club operations.
Mike is also involved in coaching golf, serving as head boy’s coach at Boylan Catholic for four years
and now as Assistant Girls coach. He has been involved in numerous ministries over the years from
running a youth group in St. Charles Prison to coordinating retreats and conferences. In his spare time
he can be found playing golf with his wife of 25 years Debbie, daughter Melissa (15) and
sons Bobby (22), and Danny (20).
